Statistics: Russia’s industrial output falls 0.3% on year in Jul

MOSCOW, Aug 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s industrial output decreased 0.3% on the year and rose 0.2% on the month in July, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Monday.

Excluding seasonal factors, Russia’s industrial output fell 0.9% on the month in July.

Mineral extraction increased 1.8% on the year and 3% on the month in July, processing industry’s output decreased 1.5% on the year and 1.4% on the month. Electric power production rose 0.8% on the year and 0.5% on the month.

In January–July, industrial output grew 0.3% on the year.

Mineral extraction increased 2.5% on the year in the period, the processing industry’s output fell 0.9%, while electric power, gas and water supply services rose 0.5%.
